Our Standards

Uncompromising Quality, International Compliance, and Advanced U.S. Manufacturing for Mission-Critical Power Systems

Quality & Operational Excellence

Certified AS9100 and ISO-9001 Quality Management System

SynQor maintains an industry-leading Quality Management System (QMS) certified to both AS9100 (Aerospace Standard) and ISO-9001 requirements. AS9100 includes all standard ISO-9001 quality controls while adding stringent aerospace-level requirements for design safety, risk mitigation, configuration management, and full material traceability.

Initial ISO-9001 certification was achieved in 2000, followed by AS9100 certification in 2006. SynQor undergoes annual third-party surveillance audits to verify operational discipline across all design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.

Quality Assurance Principles

Quality and reliability are embedded directly into SynQor's process-centered organization. Every power module and system undergoes rigorous automated electrical screening, thermal stress verification, and process monitoring prior to customer shipment.

Global Compliance

Comprehensive Safety & Regulatory Standards Compliance

SynQor power converters and systems are qualified against worldwide medical, industrial, military, and transportation standards to ensure seamless integration and reliable field execution.

Safety & Application Standards

  • Medical Standards (EN 60601-1 / IEC 60601-1-2 ed. 4.0): High-isolation AC-DC and DC-DC converters engineered for patient-contact and diagnostic medical equipment with 2×MOPP rating.
  • Industrial & IT (IEC/EN 62368-1 & 60950-1): Complete compliance for high-density power distribution, rail communications, and industrial control electronics.
  • Uninterruptible Power & Energy (EN 62040-1 & IEC 62133-2): Safety certified lithium-ion battery modules (BAT-0200, BAT-0400) and ruggedized UPS systems.
  • Military & Defense (MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-1399, RTCA DO-160G): Ruggedized design parameters for aircraft power buses, shipboard systems, and ground vehicles.

RoHS & REACH Environmental Compliance

SynQor is fully committed to environmental stewardship. All standard products comply strictly with European Union RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) directives.

Through innovative topology optimization, SynQor reduces module size and component count, directly minimizing ecological footprint while accelerating efficiency margins for worldwide systems.

Supply Chain Protection

AS5553 Anti-Counterfeit Part Avoidance & Material Integrity

SynQor maintains an explicit Counterfeit Parts Avoidance and Control Framework built to meet the rigorous requirements of Aerospace Standard AS5553. This multi-layered strategy shields mission-critical defense and commercial programs from suspect component infiltration.

1. Sourcing Avoidance

100% of electronic components and raw materials are purchased directly from original component manufacturers (OCMs) or authorized franchised distributors. Procurement from unauthorized brokers is strictly prohibited.

2. Quality Detection

All incoming materials undergo thorough Quality Control inspections against OEM specifications and internal Source Control Drawings (SCD) prior to entering production inventory.

3. Risk Mitigation

Non-conforming items or suspect counterfeit parts are immediately isolated within secure physical and electronic quarantine areas for thorough engineering evaluation.

4. Definite Disposition

Confirmed counterfeit components are permanently rendered unusable, removed from the electronics supply chain, and reported in full compliance with AS5553 mandates.

Conflict Minerals Policy (Dodd-Frank Act Section 1502)

SynQor actively audits its global supply chain for gold, tin, tantalum, and tungsten sourcing in alignment with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act. We maintain standardized Conflict Minerals Reporting Templates (CMRT) to support customer compliance reviews and promote conflict-free mineral supply chains.

U.S. Engineering & Production

Advanced U.S. Manufacturing Facility & DFM Discipline

SynQor designs and manufactures 100% of its products in Salem, New Hampshire, USA. Co-locating design, process engineering, quality control, and production teams within a single facility accelerates prototyping, streamlines Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and guarantees absolute oversight over production consistency.

Manufacturing lines utilize real-time automated data capture at every assembly node. This statistical process data is continuously monitored to ensure operational metrics exceed benchmark standards.

  • Class 10,000 Cleanroom: Specialized environment dedicated to producing Military Hi-Rel products built to IPC-A-610 Class III standards.
  • Automated SMT & Assembly Lines: High-volume automated surface-mount lines integrated alongside specialized low-volume custom assembly cells.
  • 100% Component Serialization: Granular barcode tracking records component lot code, date code, and vendor origin for every unit built.
  • Full-Range Environmental Screening: Comprehensive thermal cycling (-55°C to +125°C), extended electrical burn-in, and full functional screening.
